Role: Senior Marketing Operations Executive
Contract: 12-month
Office: Marlow (hybrid) – 3 days on site
SRG are working with a leading pharmaceutical company based in Marlow. Our client develop and manufacture an impressive portfolio of aesthetics brands and products.
Job Summary
The Senior Marketing Operations Executive will provide 12 months of maternity cover within the UK & Ireland Marketing team. The role will help the team run smoothly by coordinating core administrative, financial, compliance and organizational activities.
The successful candidate will be proactive, organized and collaborative, with the confidence to take ownership, build relationships and find practical ways to move work forward. The role may also support Brand Leads with the coordination of selected projects. Previous marketing experience and a university degree are not essential.
Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing operations and administration
- Coordinate purchase orders, invoices, contracts, trackers and associated documentation.
- Work with Finance, Procurement, suppliers and internal colleagues to help activities progress accurately and on time.
- Provide practical day-to-day support to the Marketing team and respond flexibly to changing priorities.
Systems, governance and compliance
- Coordinate activities through relevant internal approval, compliance and content-management systems.
- Support promotional and non-promotional material review, healthcare professional engagements, events and contracts.
- Help ensure documentation and approvals are complete, accurate and retained appropriately.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Medical, Procurement and other teams to resolve queries and follow the correct processes.

Events, team and project coordination
- Support the organisation of marketing events, internal conferences, meetings and team activities, including relevant documentation and logistics.
- Provide project-management support to Brand Leads on selected initiatives by coordinating stakeholders, actions, timelines and updates.
- Maintain clear trackers, follow up on actions and highlight upcoming milestones, dependencies or risks.
Collaboration and ownership
- Build effective relationships across Marketing and the wider cross-functional organisation.
- Take ownership of agreed tasks through to completion and communicate progress clearly.
- Bring a practical, solution-focused mindset and look for opportunities to simplify ways of working.
Job Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)
The requirements below are representative of those needed to perform the essential functions of the role.
Education and Experience
- A university degree and previous marketing experience are not required.
- Experience in administration, operations, project coordination, events, procurement or business support would be beneficial.
- Experience in a regulated corporate environment, or with purchase orders, invoices and contracts, would be advantageous.

- Clear written and verbal communication, with confidence working across different teams.
- Proactive, reliable and comfortable taking ownership while seeking guidance when needed.
- Practical problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- A collaborative, professional and discreet approach.
Additional Desirable Skills
- Experience supporting projects or coordinating several workstreams.
- Experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare or another regulated industry.
- Experience with promotional review, healthcare professional engagements, events or contract processes.
- Experience using AI productivity tools, particularly Microsoft Copilot, is desirable but not essential, together with an interest in using AI responsibly within company guidelines.
Technical Skills and Systems
- Veeva Vault PromoMats, or a comparable promotional material review and approval platform.
- Purchase order, invoicing and procurement platforms.
- Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or similar AI productivity.
