Your day at NTT DATA

The Senior Marketing Specialist, Client Experience Centre (CXC) Advisor supports the planning and execution of executive customer engagements and onsite events at NTT DATA’s London Briefing Center. Working under the direction of the Team Lead, Client Experience Centre, this role coordinates the end-to-end logistics of briefings and special events, assists with content preparation, and helps deliver a consistently high-quality visitor experience. This is a role within the Marketing & Communications function offering strong growth opportunities for professionals looking to build expertise in executive engagement, events management, and EBC programme operations.

The Senior Marketing Specialist is an advanced subject matter expert, responsible for contributing to the coordination and management of all aspects of marketing.

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and coordination of executive client innovation briefings and onsite events, managing logistics from initial request through on-site execution and post-engagement follow-up.
  • Consult with the Client Experience Centre (CXC) team and account teams to understand meeting objectives and assist in developing appropriate briefing agendas and session flows in collaboration with senior CXC staff.
  • Manage overall planning and logistics for routine briefings and lower-complexity events; assist more senior colleagues on higher-complexity or multi-stakeholder engagements.
  • Coordinate onsite event logistics including room setup, AV equipment, catering, facilities preparation, and visitor arrival experience at the London CXC.
  • Consult with internal business stakeholders and leadership to make decisions regarding meeting locations, space arrangements, equipment, and hospitality requirements.
  • Track projects, manage vendor activities, and coordinate with facilities, hospitality, and operations teams to ensure all event elements are delivered on time and to standard.
  • Support development and maintenance of briefing presentation materials, the CXC content library, and portfolio/subject matter expert resources.
  • Contribute to CRM and briefing management system processes; maintain accurate records of engagements, attendee profiles, outcomes, and action items.
  • Support day-to-day KPI tracking and reporting on briefing programme activity; assist in preparing performance summaries and presentations for leadership.
  • Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, account teams, executive administrators, and external vendors in support of the CXC programme.
  • Assist in maintaining briefing toolkit guides, templates, process documentation, and engagement materials as required.
  • Support day-to-day campaign and programme management activities as directed, contributing to continuous improvement of CXC processes and client experience.

General knowledge, skills and attributes

  • Sound knowledge of executive briefing coordination, event planning and logistics, and client engagement processes, with a commitment to growing expertise in this area.
  • Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent briefings and event workstreams, track details, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to draft professional correspondence, briefing summaries, and presentation content.
  • Good client relationship and interpersonal skills; professional, diplomatic, and composed when working with internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Awareness of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) processes and familiarity with briefing management, event management, or project tracking tools and platforms. I.e., Salesforce, Briefing Edge or Briefing Source
  • Working knowledge of technology portfolios and service offerings, with a desire to build deeper understanding over time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook); solid skills in producing professional presentation and communication materials.
  • Strong attention to detail across logistics, content accuracy, and visitor experience; a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues before they escalate.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across functions including the Innovation Centre team, sales, marketing, operations, and hospitality teams.
  • Growth-oriented and self-motivated; eager to take on increasing responsibility and develop skills in executive engagement and CXC programme management.
  • Knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in high-pressure situations
  • Demonstrates strong strategic, conceptual, and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to establish and manage processes and practices through collaboration while applying strong business acumen
  • Ability to manage urgent and complex tasks simultaneously

Education required

  • University degree in marketing, business, communications, events management, or a related field; or equivalent combination of work experience.

Certifications required

  • Event coordination or marketing certification is advantageous but not required. Executive briefing management or Customer Relationship Management training is preferred.

Work experience required

  • Typically requires 8-10 years of relevant experience in marketing, events coordination, customer-facing support, or a related field.
  • Experience working in or supporting a client experience centre, corporate events function, or hospitality environment is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate logistics for professional events or meetings involving senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working with vendors, tracking budgets, and managing multiple concurrent project workstreams.
  • Prior exposure to a technology, professional services, or managed services environment is beneficial.

Languages

  • English — fluent (written and spoken) — required.
  • Additional European languages (e.g., Italian, German, French, Spanish) are advantageous.
