Senior Marketing Specialist

Location: Belfast / Newtownards / Donaghadee, Northern Ireland
Salary: Competitive (DOE) + Excellent Benefits
Job Type: Full-time (41 hours per week)

About the Opportunity

Whytematter Solutions is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established, multi-site organisation in Northern Ireland for an experienced Senior Marketing Specialist.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business where you'll take ownership of integrated marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, generate leads and support commercial growth across multiple locations.

This role would suit an ambitious marketing professional who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on campaign delivery and is passionate about digital marketing, content creation and brand development.

The Role

As the Senior Marketing Specialist, you'll be responsible for planning, delivering and optimising multi-channel marketing campaigns from concept through to reporting.

Working closely with senior leadership, operational teams and external partners, you'll help shape the organisation's marketing strategy while delivering campaigns that produce measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across multiple business locations.
  • Lead campaigns from initial concept through creative development, execution, optimisation and reporting.
  • Develop marketing initiatives focused on lead generation, customer acquisition and brand awareness.
  • Manage business social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
  • Create engaging written and visual content for campaigns, recruitment, events, company updates and community initiatives.
  • Manage paid advertising campaigns across Meta, Google and other digital platforms.
  • Monitor campaign performance using analytics and provide insight-driven recommendations.
  • Produce regular performance reports for senior management.
  • Develop and deliver email marketing campaigns and customer communication journeys.
  • Create marketing collateral including brochures, presentations, digital assets and promotional materials.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing activity.
  • Work with local teams to develop targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Support events, sponsorships, launches and community engagement activities.
  • Coordinate photography, videography and other creative content.
  • Produce blogs, articles, video content and wider digital communications.
  • Support PR activity including press releases, media engagement and award submissions.
  • Identify partnership opportunities and new marketing initiatives.
  • Research emerging marketing technologies, AI tools and digital trends to improve performance and efficiency.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Creative, commercially aware and highly proactive.
  • Equally comfortable developing strategy and delivering campaigns.
  • Confident managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • An excellent communicator with strong copywriting skills.
  • Data-driven and experienced in analysing marketing performance.
  • Able to work independently while building strong relationships across the business.
  • Passionate about digital marketing, branding and emerging technologies.

Skills & Experience

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience within a marketing, digital marketing, communications or brand-focused role.
  • Proven success delivering integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Strong social media management and content creation experience.
  • Experience running paid digital advertising campaigns.
  • Lead generation and conversion marketing experience.
  • Excellent copywriting and content creation skills.
  • Experience using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of email marketing, CRM systems and customer journeys.
  • Experience using analytics and reporting tools.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders to translate commercial objectives into effective marketing campaigns.

  • HubSpot or marketing automation platform experience.
  • Photography, videography or video editing skills.
  • Experience within property, professional services or a multi-site organisation.

Qualifications

A qualification in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business or a related discipline is desirable.

Professional marketing qualifications would be advantageous.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
  • Saturday: 9:30am – 12:30pm (1 in 3, rota basis)
