Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to support the development of complex engineering products within a highly regulated environment. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of component and system-level design activities, from initial concept generation through to detailed design and product definition.

Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering robust design solutions, producing high-quality CAD models, and ensuring designs meet performance, manufacturing, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop engineering concepts and mature designs through the full product lifecycle.
  • Produce detailed component and assembly designs using Siemens NX.
  • Generate and manage 3D models, technical drawings, and product definition data.
  • Translate system-level requirements into practical engineering solutions.
  • Perform GD&T application and tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure manufacturability and fit-for-purpose designs.
  • Support design reviews, verification activities, and technical decision-making.
  • Work closely with manufacturing, systems, and project teams to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Ensure all design outputs comply with relevant standards, processes, and configuration control requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
