Senior Mechanical Engineer – Hertfordshire
I'm currently working on a Senior Mechanical Engineer opportunity with a growing engineering business in Hertfordshire.
This is a hands-on mechanical design role, working on the development of electromechanical products and taking projects from initial concept through to prototype, testing and manufacture.
You'll be involved in areas such as:
- Mechanical design and product development
- 3D CAD and detailed design
- Working with hydraulics, pneumatics, valves and flow-related systems
- Engineering calculations and design analysis
- Prototyping, build and testing
- Design for manufacture
- Working with castings, machined components and fabricated parts
- Design reviews, problem solving and validation
- Working closely with other engineering disciplines
- Supporting and mentoring more junior engineers
