Senior Mechanical Engineer – NPI

Bristol

£48000 - £52000 + bonus and benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a high-tech engineering business developing advanced thermal management solutions for the semiconductor industry.

You’ll act as the mechanical engineering lead on NPI projects, taking products from concept and design through to production launch. The role will involve mechanical architecture, 3D CAD, detailed component and assembly design, GD&T, thermal engineering, and working closely with manufacturing and cross-functional engineering teams.

We’re looking for:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Product Design, Thermal Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience leading mechanical design on NPI/product development projects
  • Experience taking products from concept through to production
  • Strong 3D CAD and GD&T/tolerancing skills
  • Experience in technically demanding industries such as semiconductor, vacuum, aerospace, or process equipment
  • Thermal/heat transfer or heat exchanger experience would be highly advantageous
