Position Overview
We’re on the lookout for a talented Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. If you’re interested in working on multi-disciplinary engineering projects that tackle some of the toughest briefs in the medical and consumer goods sectors, we want to hear from you!
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Crux, you will be leading high-profile client projects and playing a key role in the development of the team’s capabilities and operating processes. You will lead from the front, consistently demonstrating excellence in analytical, creative and experimental activities to ensure the successful delivery of project work to your clients.
This role can adapt to suit either a mid- or high-level of previous experience in related fields.

- Achieved a First classification in a relevant accredited degree program.
- 7+ years of experience in hands-on engineering roles with demonstrable achievements.
- Technical leadership skills and an ambition to develop others in your areas of expertise.
- A track record of excellence in technical work and communication.
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to apply “first principles” to problems.
- In-depth knowledge of a wide range of engineering processes.
- Experience managing clients, customers or other external stakeholders.
Desirable
- Experience in a consultancy environment.
- Experience in the medical, pharma or health industries.
