Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee mechanical engineering activities across residential projects.
  • Review and coordinate mechanical designs, specifications and technical documentation.
  • Work closely with design consultants, project managers and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure mechanical installations are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and relevant standards.
  • Coordinate mechanical services with other building services and construction disciplines.
  • Review technical submissions, drawings, calculations and equipment selections.
  • Assist with procurement and ensure equipment and materials meet project requirements.
  • Monitor progress and support the project team in achieving programme and quality targets.
  • Attend design and coordination meetings with project stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support commissioning, testing and handover of mechanical systems.
  • Assist with ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to the required programme.

  • Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality throughout project delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
