About the Role
Our client is a leading international provider of industrial water treatment and process filtration solutions. They support customers across a range of sectors, including industrial manufacturing, food & beverage, and healthcare, helping to solve complex process and production challenges through the design, installation, servicing, and maintenance of high-quality systems.
Due to continued growth and expansion into new industries, they are looking to strengthen their Engineering team with a Senior Mechanical Engineer. This critical role offers an exceptional opportunity to spearhead the end-to-end lifecycle of multi-million-pound industrial water and wastewater treatment systems, transitioning seamlessly from high-level conceptual design to impactful field deployment.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the allocated Engineering projects; sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors, checks output standards, and summarises progress.
- Serve as the definitive authority for reviewing and approving critical project documentation, including complex P&IDs, fabrication drawings, electrical schematics, and comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Responsible for coordination, implementation, interventions, execution, and technical compliance, control, and completion of systems projects / activities, while remaining aligned with the strategy, commitments, and goals of the organisation.
- Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, and Service teams to ensure Projects meet tender cost allowances and contribution targets.

Key Experience Required
- Mechanical degree qualification.
- Clean water or industrial water treatment experience.
- Reverse Osmosis and ION Exchange (IO) experience required.
- Must be from a design and build background.
