Join Our Client's Engineering Team

Our client is a global engineering business specialising in advanced vacuum, exhaust management and thermal management solutions, supporting demanding industries including semiconductor manufacturing and other high-technology applications.

Due to continued investment in new product development, they are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer - NPI (TMS) to join their team in Clevedon.

Your Role

You will:

  • Lead mechanical engineering activities on NPI projects from concept through to production launch.
  • Own mechanical architecture decisions, balancing performance, manufacturability, reliability, serviceability, and cost.
  • Develop mechanical solutions for advanced thermal management products used in demanding semiconductor environments.
  • Lead 3D modelling, detailed component, and assembly design activities.
  • Apply thermal engineering principles, including heat transfer and thermal system optimisation.
  • Contribute to thermal modelling and system performance analysis.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to support product industrialisation.
  • Collaborate with electrical, controls, systems, and test engineers on integrated product solutions.
  • Provide occasional customer-site support for installation and commissioning, typically around once per year.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
