We are a friendly, inclusive, family-run business delivering complete mechanical installations for new-build developments across the residential, care, commercial and education sectors.
With an annual turnover of approximately £10 million, a strong forward workload and ambitions to grow turnover to £15 million by 2031, this is an excellent time to become part of our team. We currently have approximately £12.5 million of tendered opportunities relating to projects already secured by our clients.
You will work closely with our directors and estimating team, taking responsibility for producing accurate, commercially competitive tenders for mechanical packages typically valued between £500,000 and £3 million.

- BMS and mechanical controls
Key responsibilities

- Obtain and assess quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Build competitive tender prices covering labour, materials, plant and specialist packages.
- Identify commercial risks, tender qualifications, exclusions and opportunities.
- Explore value-engineering solutions without compromising quality or compliance.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors throughout the tender process.
- Attend tender meetings, site visits and project clarification meetings where required.
- Work collaboratively with the directors and wider estimating team.
- Prepare professional tender submissions and supporting documentation.
- Provide a clear handover to the commercial and project-delivery teams following an award.
- Maintain estimating records, pricing information and supplier relationships.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
