We are currently working on behalf of a leading M&E contractor who are looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Estimator to join their team at their office near Newcastle.
The business delivers a wide range of projects across the UK, including Commercial, Residential and Retail, and due to continued growth, recent project wins and an increasing workload, they are looking to add an experienced Estimator to the team ASAP.
🔹 The ideal candidate:
- 5+ years' Mechanical Estimating experience
- Strong Building Services background
- Experience across Commercial, Residential or Retail projects
- Project Managers with strong estimating experience will also be considered

🔹 Key responsibilities:
- Review tender enquiry documents
- Measure and take off quantities from tender drawings
- Liaise with Managers, Engineers and Clients
- Liaise with purchasing teams and negotiate with suppliers/sub-contractors
- Prepare material and sub-contractor analysis sheets
- Assist with tender adjudication
- Agree tender adjustments with Senior Management
- Prepare and submit tenders and post-tender responses

💷 Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
