Express Recruitment is excited to be working alongside one of the UK’s most innovative sporting businesses who are revolutionising multi-sports training and entertainment. This is an exciting and extremely rare opportunity to join one of the UK’s fastest growing sport entertainment equipment providers who are currently experiencing exponential growth on a global scale, particularly throughout USA and Australia.
If you are a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a passion for working with bespoke engineering systems and an interest in overseas travel, this role is perfect for you!
Compensation and Benefits
In return, you will receive a competitive starting salary of c£40,000 plus overtime opportunities. Salary will increase with length of service and improvement of skillset. Other benefits include:

Skills & Experience
- HNC or apprentice trained in Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Must be flexible with around 60% field-based UK and overseas travel
- Experienced in the assembly and testing of electromechanical systems
- Demonstrable attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset
- Excellent team player with demonstrable experience of leading and mentoring small teams of Engineers
- Must hold a clean UK driving license
- Must hold a valid UK passport

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform regular on-site installations and servicing of bespoke machinery and equipment
- Ensure all technical issues are resolved within a timely and professional manner
- Schedule site installs, including supporting logistics planning and procurement of materials
- Oversee and assist with assembly of mechanical products and cabling equipment
- Read and interpret engineering diagrams and cable/wiring layout diagrams
- Act as escalation point of contact for all customer related queries and complaints
- Ensure installations are completed within the agreed SLA timescales
- Travel to various customer sites throughout the UK and overseas ensuring that customers are fully aware of the correct usage of products
