£100,000 - £120,000 + Travel Allowance + Accommodation + Bonus + Private Healthcare + Pension + Career Progression
Are you a Senior Mechanical Project Manager looking to take ownership of major mechanical packages on some of the UK and Europe’s largest construction projects, with a clear route towards MEP Project Director?
This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing international main contractor delivering technically complex projects worth billions across the UK and Europe. Based on a major project in Somerset, you will take a leading role in the mechanical delivery, working closely with the wider MEP, construction, commercial and project leadership teams.
The business has built its reputation around being agile, ambitious and genuinely performance-driven. Unlike larger contractors where decisions can become tied up in multiple layers of management, the company operates with a relatively flat structure, allowing decisions to be made quickly and giving strong performers real responsibility.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
