We're looking for Senior Mechanical Site Managers to join our Kier Mechanical & Electrical team based on site in London.

Location: London, Zone 1

Hours: Full Time, Permanent. Some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

Role Overview

As a Senior Mechanical Site Manager you'll be at the heart of our project delivery, ensuring the safe and effective installation of mechanical services. Working as part of a collaborative team, you'll take the lead on mechanical installations while supporting the broader site management objectives. This is a hands-on role where your technical expertise and leadership will directly contribute to the successful delivery of projects across various sectors including custodial, commercial, health, and science.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Mechanical Supervisor, you'll be working within the Kier Mechanical & Electrical Team, supporting them in delivering complex and challenging projects to the highest standards. Your day to day will include:

  • Ensuring all site works are carried out safely and in line with Kier standards, project requirements, and UK law
  • Overseeing the installation of mechanical services, ensuring compliance with specifications and coordinating with other trades
  • Managing quality control procedures and providing accurate progress updates to the project management team
  • Guiding and overseeing other supervisors to ensure successful delivery of delegated works packages
  • Contributing to the identification of project risks and opportunities, taking responsibility for mitigation within your area of control

This role of Senior Mechanical Supervisor is great for you if:

  • You're technically confident in mechanical services installation and safety, with a relevant industry accredited qualification
  • You hold CSCS and SMSTS accreditation as a minimum
  • You're a natural collaborator who communicates clearly and enjoys working as part of a team
  • You have a positive, solutions-focused approach and are committed to maintaining the highest safety standards
  • You're keen to continue learning and developing your career with support from your line manager
