THE ROLE
The Senior Media Payables specialist will be responsible for the management of the accounts payable ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, effective supplier management, and strong controls across payment cycles. You will be helping the company keep on top of all outgoing cash; ensuring our suppliers are paid on time and accurately which is essential to running a successful business The successful candidate must be a team player, ideally with a strong AP/Media background.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices in line with agreed SLAs
- Prepare and process payment runs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Act as a key point of contact for supplier queries, maintaining professional and effective relationships
- Support month-end close activities, including accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Monitor and manage AP aging, proactively addressing overdue or high-risk balances
- Support process improvements and efficiency initiatives within Accounts Payable
- Onboarding new suppliers and maintaining accurate supplier master data
- Collaborate closely with procurement, finance, and wider business stakeholders

- Confident communicator, able to deal with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage volume in a fast-paced environment
🤝 Human Skills
- Great team player who can manage multiple tasks and deadlines whilst managing the expectations of key stakeholders
- High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
🧠 Smart Skills
- Strong understanding of end-to-end AP processes
- Exposure to process improvement or system implementations
AS WELL AS
- NetSuite experience preferable.
- Strong Excel Skills.
- Proactive and solutions-focused
- Media experience, or experience in a high-volume transactional business with regular AP
