A growing healthcare education business is looking for a Senior Medical Education Manager to join its UK team.
This is a broad senior role combining independent medical education strategy with hands-on programme delivery, content development, faculty engagement and team leadership. You'll take ownership of complex educational projects from initial needs assessment and strategy through to execution and evaluation, while helping to develop best practice and supporting others within the team.
The role:
- Leading independent medical education projects from strategy and planning through to delivery
- Identifying unmet educational needs and contributing to the strategic direction of education programmes
- Building and maintaining relationships with KOLs, faculty and professional societies
- Leading complex webinars, live events and other educational programmes end-to-end
- Developing learning objectives and ensuring programmes incorporate adult learning principles
- Writing and editing educational materials, scripts and supporting content
- Managing project timelines, budgets, suppliers and contracts
- Supporting the development of proposals and grants for educational programmes
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members
- Leading cross-functional working groups and championing best practice in medical education
- Managing freelancers and external suppliers across projects

About you:
- Strong experience within medical education or medical communications
- A life sciences or related degree
- Experience leading complex educational projects for pharmaceutical clients
- Strong medical writing experience
- Experience working with KOLs and external faculty
- Good understanding of the ABPI Code
- Confidence managing budgets, timelines and multiple stakeholders
- Experience supporting or mentoring others
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach and the flexibility to thrive within a growing team
