About the role
We're looking for an experienced Senior Medical Writer to join a global publications and medical affairs team in oncology. You will partner with global clients on publications and medical affairs strategy and deliverables, plus work as part of a larger account team. Coaching junior writers will be an important part of the role as well - we have experience developing people and we hope you do too! Solid tumour oncology experience is an advantage, but publications and medical affairs deliverable experience is more important. This is a great opportunity to take the next step into leading and driving a product within a large team. It also allows you to build deep relationships with clients and be part of a large, supportive, and fun team.

Here's what you'll do:
As a Senior Medical Writer, you will:
- Develop accurate and high-quality scientific content
- Coach junior team members
- Partner with peers, senior editorial team (ASD/SD/SSD), and CS to grow the business
- Develop client and author relationships that allow you to make great, strategy-driven recommendations
- Co-lead client and author calls and scientific meetings
- Be a partner and trusted advisor to the client, with some travel for client meetings and events
You will report to an Associate Scientific Director and will mentor junior members of the medical writing team.

About you:
To succeed you will have:
- Several years' experience working in a medical writing role in both publications and medical affairs, within a medical communications agency environment
- Experience writing across a broad range of deliverables and formats for a variety of medical audiences
