pobl. is an independent talent consultancy specialising in medical communications. We're working with a top international med comms agency to recruit multiple Senior Medical Writers for their London office — for writers who specialise in publications, medical affairs, or a mix of both. These roles are based from a welcoming London office, hybrid with up to three days a week in person.
Both roles sit on rare disease accounts, where the patient impact is tangible and the science is genuinely interesting.
About the Roles
Publications-focused
- A broad mix of deliverables: manuscripts, congress publications, plain language summaries, companion pieces (slide decks, infographics), congress reporting and meeting support.
- Real scope to review others' work and mentor less experienced writers, with the opportunity for line management.

Medical affairs and education-focused

What We're Looking For
- Experience writing in the medical communications sector, with a strong scientific background (a science PhD, preferably life sciences, would be advantageous)
- Confidence communicating with scientific and healthcare professionals, and comfort with significant client interaction
- The ability to think strategically and proactively offer innovative solutions
- Strong PowerPoint and visual communication skills (particularly for the medical affairs role)
- A passion for communicating science, a 'can-do' attitude, and a collaborative approach
