About the role We're looking for an experienced Senior Medical Writer to join a global, exciting, medical affairs and commercial team focused on neurologic diseases. You will partner with global clients on medical affairs and commercial strategy and deliverables, plus work as part of a larger, cross-functional account team. Coaching junior writers will be an important part of the role as well - we have a passion for developing people and we hope you do too! Neurology experience is an advantage, but extensive medical affairs/commercial deliverable experience and motivation for a new role is more important. This is a great opportunity to take the next step into leading and driving a workstream within a large team, build deep relationships with clients, and be part of a large, supportive, and fun team. Here's what you'll do: As a Senior Medical writer, you will develop accurate and high-quality scientific content and coaching junior team members. You will partner with your peers, senior editorial team (ASD/SD/SSD), and CS to drive and grow the business. You will develop strong client and author relationships that enable you to make great, strategy-driven recommendations. You will co-lead client and author calls and scientific meetings. The role offers opportunities to be a partner and trusted advisor to the client, with some travel for client meetings and events. The Senior Medical Writer will report to a Lead Medical Writer and will coach and mentor junior members of the medical writing team.
