Job Opportunity: Pharmacy Technician

Are you a motivated and compassionate Pharmacy Technician who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care? Do you want to work in a supportive, collaborative environment where your skills and expertise make a real difference to patients’ lives? If so, we would love to hear from you.

At Denmark Hill (DH), we are transforming the way we deliver care and are seeking a proactive, flexible, and forward-thinking individual to join our Medicines Management team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an innovative service that values teamwork, professional development, and patient-centred care.

You will be part of a supportive and experienced team of Medicines Management Pharmacy Technicians, rotating across a range of clinical specialties. This varied role offers excellent opportunities to broaden your clinical knowledge, develop new skills, and gain valuable experience in different specialist areas. Acting as a vital link between ward teams and pharmacy services, you will help optimise medicines use and enhance the patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery and development of ward-based medicines management services across a range of clinical specialties on a rotational basis.
  • Ensure patients receive safe, effective, and timely medicines support throughout their care journey.
  • Responsibilities include medicines reconciliation, assessing patients’ own medicines, transcribing medicines, counselling patients, supporting medicine returns, and coordinating discharge medicines, including dispensing TTAs on wards and in dispensary.
  • Support the induction and training of pharmacy staff.
  • Gain valuable leadership experience through line management of a Pharmacy Support Worker.
  • Support dispensary services, including dispensing activities and accuracy checking.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
