Are you an experienced RMN with a passion for working in a fast-paced environment?
We are looking for a senior RMN with experience of working in mental health services to join our integrated Mental Health & Substance Use Service at HMP Dovegate, a Category B facility for remand and sentenced adult males.
- You would be joining a professional and compassionate multi-disciplinary team committed to Recovery-focused and trauma-informed approaches to care.
- The Service is responsible for assessment, planning, and the delivery of a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support mental health and substance use needs for the men under our care.

This role is specifically designed to support early screening assessment and support for men in the early days in custody.
Job responsibilities

- Take a Recovery-focused and holistic approach in working with the people who access our services.
- Deliver care and interventions utilizing the stepped care model, including provision of the CPA Framework where appropriate.
- Assess people's needs to develop, implement, and evaluate personalized care plans.
- Facilitate therapeutic group work, taking the lead where appropriate.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions.
- Identify people requiring hospital treatment and facilitate the timely transfer under The Mental Health Act.
- Line management of Band 5 nurse where appropriate.
