ABOUT US
EDC was established in 2003 and thanks to our quality-driven approach to engineering and early-adopter ethos we have grown during a period when most companies in this sector have struggled. We have continued to increase our workload and deliver quality, innovative engineering.
As pioneers in the design of low-energy, high-performance buildings and systems, EDC fully supports the importance placed on sustainability and welcomes the challenges this presents. We are the first BIM Level 2 Certified Consultancy in the UK and Ireland and deliver projects from our four offices in Ireland – Cork, Limerick, Galway & Dublin, our UK office based in London and our Istanbul Office based in Turkey. EDC has also seen significant recent expansion overseas in the African Market.
OUR MISSION
Committed to delivering excellence in MEP & sustainability services where we can add positive impact to the environment and our society.
OUR VISION
To be recognised as the UK and Ireland's leading experts in sustainable MEP engineering, known for excellence in delivery, innovation, and a commitment to a resilient, environmentally responsible future achieved by putting our people first and investing in their continuous development.

You must have a minimum of 3 years Building Services Consultancy Design experience and will be a competent user of 3D modelling tools including REVIT MEP and an experienced user of BIM.
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary design coordination across projects, ensuring delivery aligns with programme milestones and client requirements.
- Deliver high-quality MEP design outputs using Revit MEP and Navisworks, producing fully coordinated, clash-free, and construction-ready 3D models for EDC clients.
- Represent EDC at BIM coordination and client meetings, acting as a key point of contact for BIM-related matters and driving resolution of design, coordination, and technical issues.
- Ensure all BIM deliverables are developed in accordance with ISO 19650 standards, including adherence to BEPs, project information requirements, and company protocols.
- Maintain and enforce BIM and CAD standards across all projects, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance with both internal and client standards.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and training to junior and intermediate staff, supporting their development and promoting best practices in BIM.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
