Senior MEP Planner – Major UK Project
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior MEP Planner to join the project team delivering a major, high-profile development in the UK. You’ll play a key role in planning and delivering complex MEP packages, working across multiple interfaces and specialist subcontractors through to completion. Due to the confidential nature of the project, further details can be provided directly to suitable candidates.
The Role
- Take responsibility for MEP planning across one or multiple workstreams.
- Develop robust, achievable and fully integrated programmes.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Design, Commercial teams and specialist subcontractors.
- Manage complex MEP interfaces, monitor progress and provide programme analysis.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed MEP programmes using P6 or ASTA Powerproject.
- Integrate MEP activities into the overall project programme.
- Monitor progress, risks, delays and opportunities.
- Carry out programme updates, critical path analysis and look-ahead programmes.
- Coordinate programme information from specialist MEP subcontractors.
- Support progress meetings, reporting and stakeholder reviews.
- Develop mitigation and recovery programmes where required.
- Manage interfaces across MEP, construction, design, procurement and commissioning.

About You
- Previous experience as an MEP Planner or Senior MEP Planner with a main or specialist M&E contractor.
- Strong experience planning Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health packages.
- Excellent knowledge of P6 and/or ASTA Powerproject.
- Strong understanding of MEP sequencing and programme management.
- Experience working with specialist subcontractors on complex projects.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience on large-scale or technically complex projects is highly desirable.
