Senior MEP Planner – Data Centre Projects

Location: London (Multi-Site)

Salary: Excellent Salary + Car Allowance + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits

Join One of the UK's Leading Data Centre Delivery Teams

We are seeking an experienced Senior MEP Planner to take ownership of planning and programme management across multiple high-profile data centre developments in London. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a market-leading contractor delivering some of the UK's most technically complex and prestigious mission-critical projects.

Working alongside senior operational teams, you will lead the planning strategy from pre-construction through to commissioning, ensuring programmes are robust, achievable, and aligned with client expectations.

The Role

As Senior MEP Planner, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning function across several live projects, providing strategic programme leadership while supporting project teams in delivering on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage and maintain integrated design, procurement, construction and commissioning programmes.
  • Oversee planning across multiple concurrent data centre developments.
  • Produce critical path analyses, programme narratives and recovery plans.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and opportunities, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with Project Directors, Construction Managers and commercial teams to ensure programme alignment.
  • Lead planning workshops and client programme meetings.
  • Manage change control, progress reporting and earned value analysis.
  • Support tender submissions and pre-construction planning activities where required.
  • Mentor and support junior planners within the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
