MK Search are working in partnership with a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior MEP Project Manager to lead the MEP delivery on a prestigious historic restoration project in Central London.
This is a rare opportunity to join a landmark scheme from the early stages, taking ownership of the MEP package through pre-construction, design development, procurement, installation, commissioning, and final handover. The project will see approximately £30m of MEP services delivered over the next two years, making it one of the most notable heritage projects currently underway in London.
The successful candidate will become part of a highly respected business with an outstanding reputation for delivering technically complex projects across the commercial, healthcare, MoD, MoJ, and heritage sectors. With a substantial pipeline of secured work, this role also offers excellent long-term career progression beyond the initial project.
The Role
Reporting into the Project Director, you will take full responsibility for managing the MEP delivery throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring quality, programme, commercial performance, and client expectations are achieved.
You will work closely with design consultants, subcontractors, commercial teams, and client representatives while leading the coordination of all mechanical and electrical services on site.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
