Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure Project

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 + Car Allowance/Company Car + Comprehensive Benefits Package

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to join one of the UK's leading main contractors, delivering a critical package of works on a major infrastructure project.

Based in Birmingham, you will play a key commercial role in the delivery of a series of high-value headhouse structures and the associated MEP systems that will form part of the project's critical operational infrastructure. These complex buildings will house essential systems including ventilation, fire suppression, telecommunications, power, and other key equipment to ensure the safe operation of the site once it becomes fully operational.

This role offers the chance to work on one of the UK's most prestigious infrastructure programmes while managing significant subcontract packages and supporting the commercial success of a major project.

The Role

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for leading the commercial management of key work packages, providing commercial support to project delivery teams, and ensuring robust cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
