Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor - Data Centres
As a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor specialising in data centres, you'll focus on mechanical and electrical cost management within construction projects. Based in London (or remotely, if desired), you'll play a key role in ensuring budgets are managed effectively and costs are controlled throughout the project lifecycle.

Description
- Manage all aspects of mechanical and electrical cost estimating and cost planning for data centre projects.
- Conduct detailed analysis of project costs and provide accurate forecasts and budgets.
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Collaborate with project teams to monitor and control project finances effectively.
- Evaluate and negotiate contractor claims and variations.
- Provide regular financial reports and updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in mechanical and electrical quantity surveying.
- Support the team with post-contract cost management and final account settlements.

A successful Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor should have:

- Proven expertise in mechanical and electrical quantity surveying within construction projects.
- Experience working on data centre or mission-critical projects.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage budgets and costs effectively.
- A relevant qualification in quantity surveying or a related field.
- Knowledge of industry standards and practices in MEP surveying.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Job Offer
- Salary ranging from £75,000 to £90,000, dependent on the level of experience.
