Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for Senior MEP Quantity Surveyors based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The role involves managing the commercial and financial aspects of MEP packages, including cost planning, cost control, and cost reporting throughout the project lifecycle. - Preparing and reviewing bills of quantities (BOQs)
- Assessing valuations and variations
- Monitoring budgets
- Forecasting project costs to ensure financial performance targets are met

The Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and clients to support contract negotiations, risk management, and change control. The role also includes:
- Contributing to continuous improvement of cost management processes
- Maintaining accurate documentation
- Ensuring compliance with ESG standards, contract requirements, and relevant regulations
Qualifications
- Strong cost management capabilities, including Cost Control and Cost Management, with proven experience in MEP or construction projects.
- Proficiency in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring.
- Experience in preparing, reviewing, and managing BOQs, with a solid understanding of measurement, valuation, and standard methods of measurement.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience working on complex commercial, residential, or data centre projects, preferably within the MEP sector.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work as part of multi-disciplinary project teams and engage with clients and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with contract forms (e.g., NEC, JCT) and commercial risk management; professional membership (e.g., RICS or equivalent) is an advantage.
