We're looking for a Senior MEP Site Manager to join our Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME) team based in Gosport.

Location: Site Based, Gosport, Hampshire

Hours: To suit project needs - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior MEP Site Manager and are open to backgrounds from either discipline. You'll oversee installations while working collaboratively with our project teams to ensure successful delivery to specification, on time and within budget. This is an opportunity to take ownership of delegated works packages, guide other supervisors, and contribute to major projects across sectors including custodial, commercial, education, health & science.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Site Manager, you'll be working within the Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME) Team, supporting them in delivering compliant, safe and high-quality MEP installations. Your day to day will include:

  • Ensuring all works are carried out safely in line with Kier standards, project requirements and UK law, with appropriate risk assessments and method statements
  • Leading on installations and coordinating services delivery, ensuring efficient construction and compliance with contract requirements
  • Managing quality control procedures and providing accurate progress updates to the project management team
  • Guiding and overseeing other supervisors where necessary, working collaboratively in the Kier "one team" delivery model
  • Contributing to identifying project risks and opportunities, maintaining accurate records and site diaries as works progress

What We're Looking For

This role of Senior Electrical Supervisor (Senior Site Manager) is great for you if:

  • You're technically skilled in Electrical or Mechanical Services installation and safety, holding a relevant industry accredited qualification
  • You have CSCS and SMSTS accreditation as a minimum
  • You communicate clearly and work collaboratively, building strong relationships with team members and stakeholders
  • You take a proactive approach to problem-solving, always keeping safety and quality at the forefront
  • You're motivated to learn, develop your career, and contribute to continuous improvement
