The Role
As Senior Merchandiser, you will manage trading performance, international pricing, stock planning, and reporting across a growing product range. Managing a Merchandising Assistant, you will take ownership of weekly and seasonal analysis, budgets, and reorder, ensuring senior stakeholders have accurate, accessible, and commercially meaningful information.
You will combine analytical rigor with strong product and commercial awareness, helping the business make informed decisions across pricing, margin, inventory, and availability. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with Buying, Operations, Finance, and the DC, and bringing automation and AI-supported tools into reporting and planning as the function scales.
Planning & Strategy
- Manage budgets, WSSI, and OTB in line with financial goals, sharing accurate forecasts with Logistics, Trade, and Studio.
- Collaborate with Buying on category, maker, and own-label budgets, developing strategies to maximize the range; pulling together budget packs by category, price point, and maker, and lead lessons-learnt reviews.
- Run the AI-supported reorder model, delivering monthly suggestions aligned with budgets, minimizing out-of-stocks, and maintaining ideal stock levels, a well-developed core range, and minimal fragmentation across collections.
- Oversee the delivery schedule with the Merchandising Assistant, partnering with Buying, Logistics, and Trade to ensure stock arrives on time, is well phased, and flows smoothly through the DC and Studio.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
