Senior Merchandising Analyst – Luxury Contemporary Fashion

£60,000 - £70,000 + Generous Package & Benefits

Fella & Jones is partnering with a globally recognised luxury contemporary fashion brand to recruit a highly analytical Merchandising Analyst.

Supporting ecommerce, retail and wholesale, you will turn complex trading and inventory data into clear commercial insights. This role suits a numerically confident merchandiser who enjoys building reports, improving processes and helping teams make smarter, faster decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own weekly trading analysis across sales, margin, stock, sell-through and availability.
  • Build and improve reports, dashboards and trackers in Google Sheets.
  • Manage WSSI and OTB reporting, forecasting and intake plans.
  • Analyse performance by product, category, channel and market.
  • Identify risks, opportunities and recommended commercial actions.
  • Support range planning, pricing, markdown and inventory decisions.
  • Lead seasonal and post-season analysis.
  • Improve data accuracy and automate repeatable reporting processes.
  • Present concise insights to senior stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in merchandising or merchandising analysis, ideally within luxury, premium or contemporary fashion.
  • Strong Google Sheets fundamentals, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data validation and dashboards.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with large datasets and building reporting tools.
  • Understanding of WSSI, OTB, forecasting, stock management and markdown planning.
  • Commercially minded, highly accurate and confident communicating recommendations.
  • Experience with BI tools, SQL or reporting automation would be advantageous but is not essential.
