Is looking for a Finance specialist in Mergers & Acquisitions who will play a key role in shaping strategic growth, partnering with senior leadership on performance, investment cases, M&A, and value creation across a diverse brand portfolio.

The role:
- Support M&A origination by building the acquisition pipeline through market mapping, competitor analysis, and relationships with investment banks, advisers, and other market contacts.
- Evaluate potential acquisition targets through market sizing, growth analysis, competitive positioning, business model assessment, and strategic fit.
- Coordinate commercial due diligence across internal teams and external advisers, reviewing findings and translating them into clear recommendations.
- Support business plan and valuation development by contributing market forecasts, revenue models, commercial assumptions, and key value drivers.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders, including the Corporate Development Director, Finance, leadership, and the Board, with exposure to UK and international transactions.

Ideal candidate:
- 5–10 years’ experience within a top-tier consultancy, Corporate Development/M&A function, or FMCG/Consumer environment, with exposure to M&A, strategy, commercial due diligence, market analysis, and acquisition activity.
Benefits & details:
- This role is on a 3-6 month fixed term contract with an opportunity to extend past this.
- This is a Hybrid role with approximately 2 days per week in North London, with the remainder working from home.
- Salary is dependent on experience, with a car allowance, strong bonus opportunity, pension, and private medical.
