Meta Specialist
MOOD London is looking for a hands-on Meta specialist to own paid social strategy, campaign execution, creative testing, and profitable customer acquisition.
You will build, analyze, and scale campaigns directly inside Meta Ads Manager, working with our creative and e-commerce teams to turn performance data into clear actions.
You should understand Meta’s current advertising systems, including Andromeda and Advantage+, and know how to assess platform changes through evidence and controlled testing.
What you will own
Campaign execution
- Build, launch, and manage acquisition, retargeting, catalogue, product launch, and seasonal campaigns. Select objectives, conversion events, audiences, placements, budget structures, and bid strategies with clear reasoning.
Budget management and scaling
- Allocate budgets, forecast performance, and scale against agreed acquisition costs, margin, and contribution targets. Recognize when to pause, continue testing, or leave campaigns unchanged.
Commercial analysis
- Assess CPA, new customer CAC, ROAS, AOV, conversion rate, revenue, and contribution after advertising. Separate new and returning customers, platform attribution, and blended business results.
Tracking and measurement
- Own or oversee Pixel, Conversions API, Events Manager, and catalogue health. Diagnose missing or duplicate events, matching issues, and incorrect purchase values. Reconcile Meta reporting with Shopify, GA4, and internal sales data, working with developers where needed.
Creative strategy
- Build a testing roadmap around customer motivations, objections, products, offers, and use cases. Brief designers, editors, and creators with clear hooks, messages, visual direction, and success criteria.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Creative testing
- Evaluate distinct concepts across static, video, creator content, demonstrations, testimonials, and product-led or offer-led ads. Protect control ads, assess fatigue through performance trends, and match production volume to testing capacity.
Funnel analysis
- Diagnose the journey from impression and click through landing-page visits, basket additions, checkout, and purchase. Recommend product-page, landing-page, offer, and checkout tests with the e-commerce team.
Platform development
- Follow official Meta updates and assess relevant changes to delivery, targeting, automation, and measurement. Use consolidation, broad targeting, and Advantage+ where justified by the account’s objectives and evidence.
Reporting and ownership
- Produce concise weekly reports covering results, causes, forecasts, and next actions. Maintain testing and account-change logs, communicate concerns early, and explain decisions clearly.
What you bring
- At least four years of hands-on Meta advertising experience, with evidence of commercial results.
- Experience personally building, managing, and scaling e-commerce accounts while controlling acquisition costs and profitability.
- Strong working knowledge of Ads Manager, Events Manager, Commerce Manager, Pixel, Conversions API, and catalogue feeds.
- Practical understanding of Andromeda, Advantage+, campaign structure, targeting, placements, and bid strategies.
- Strong spreadsheet, analytical, and creative briefing skills.
- Experience with Shopify, GA4, attribution, and backend reconciliation.
- Clear understanding of margin, break-even ROAS, repeat purchase behavior, and sustainable scaling.
- Ability to diagnose problems across advertising, creative, tracking, and website conversion.
- Independent judgement, clear communication, and organized execution.
- Experience with UK direct-to-consumer brands, fragrance, beauty, fashion, gifting, product launches, and reporting tools such as Looker Studio is welcome.
