Project Engineer / Microsoft Cloud Consultant
Brighton or Camberley | Hybrid Working Available
£45,000 - £55,000
Are you an experienced Microsoft Cloud Engineer or Technical Consultant looking for your next challenge? Join a leading Managed Services and Cloud Solutions provider, recognised for delivering innovative IT, cloud, cyber security and modern workplace solutions to a diverse customer base across the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of customer-facing projects, helping organisations modernise their IT environments through Microsoft 365, Azure, security.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Microsoft 365, Azure, Modern Workplace and infrastructure projects.
- Lead discovery sessions, implementation planning and project handovers.
- Migrate customers into Microsoft 365, including email, files, collaboration and identity services.
- Implement and support Azure, Windows Server and hybrid cloud environments.
- Configure and deploy Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID and endpoint security solutions.
- Work with networking technologies including firewalls, VPNs, wireless and switching.
- Produce technical documentation, implementation plans and handover documents.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal teams throughout project delivery.
- Identify risks and provide practical solutions to ensure successful outcomes.
- Support and mentor junior engineers where required.

Experience
- Previous experience within an MSP, IT consultancy or customer-facing technical role.
- Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience.
- Expertise with Azure and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, MFA and Conditional Access.
- Knowledge of Intune, Autopilot, endpoint management and device security.
- Windows Server and Active Directory experience.
- Understanding of networking technologies including VPNs, switches, routers and firewalls.
- Strong documentation, communication and customer-facing skills.
- Commercial awareness and ability to manage project scope and priorities.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
