Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Consultant to join our Microsoft Applications practice.
In this role, you will provide expert consultancy, support, solution design, development, and technical leadership across a portfolio of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions. You will work closely with customers to understand business requirements, design scalable solutions, deliver enhancements, and support the ongoing optimisation of their Dynamics 365 environments.
As a senior consultant, you will act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing technical expertise across the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform ecosystem while supporting delivery teams in the successful implementation and support of business-critical solutions. You will contribute to solution architecture, application customisation, integrations, upgrades, migrations, and continual service improvement initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Dynamics 365 professional who enjoys combining technical expertise, customer engagement, and solution delivery within a managed services and consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior-level consultancy, support, and technical leadership for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
- Design, configure, customise, and extend Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement applications to meet customer requirements.
- Deliver enhancements, change requests, and project-based development across customer portfolios.
- Develop custom plugins, workflows, custom APIs, integrations, and extensions using C# and .NET.
- Build and maintain Power Platform solutions including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, integration, and performance issues.
- Work directly with customer stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and recommend best-practice solutions.
- Support upgrades, migrations, and platform optimisation initiatives.
- Contribute to solution design workshops, technical documentation, and estimation activities.
- Act as a senior escalation point for technical issues and support teams.
- Mentor junior consultants and promote knowledge sharing across the team.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and service enhancement.
- Ensure solutions align with Microsoft best practices, governance standards, and security requirements.

Qualifications
Essential Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience implementing Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM) platform and core technologies.
- Extensive experience designing, configuring, and supporting Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Strong development experience using C#,.NET, JavaScript, and TypeScript within Dynamics 365 environments.
- Hands-on experience developing Plugins, Custom Workflow Activities, Custom APIs, and integrations.
- Strong understanding of Dataverse architecture, security models, and data management.
- Experience delivering solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Experience integrating Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions with external systems and services.
- Experience gathering, analysing, and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience working within managed services, consultancy, or customer-facing delivery environments.
- Strong understanding of incident, problem, change, and release management processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proven experience acting as a technical lead or senior consultant on customer engagements.
Desirable Skills
- Dynamics 365 Customer Service implementation experience.
- Dynamics 365 Sales implementation experience.
- Power Pages experience.
- Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Service Bus experience.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure integration services.
- Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline experience.
- Experience delivering Dynamics 365 migrations and upgrade projects.
- Power BI experience.
- Experience working within public sector environments.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Security Clearance (SC) or eligibility to obtain SC clearance.
