Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft 365 Consultant to support the design, implementation, migration, optimisation and governance of enterprise Microsoft platforms. The successful candidate will have broad technical expertise across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and be comfortable working across architecture, engineering, consulting, and delivery activities.
The role will support client-facing transformation programmes ranging from tenant consolidations and divestitures through to modern workplace, security, compliance and cloud adoption initiatives. The consultant will engage directly with business and technical stakeholders, lead workshops, produce technical designs, and execute complex implementation activities.
Education and Experience
- Proven experience delivering Microsoft 365 projects within enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting M&A, divestiture, tenant-to-tenant migration or transformation programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation capabilities.
- Ability to operate independently across both consulting and hands-on technical delivery activities.
- Experience producing formal architecture and design documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within regulated or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Experience with Azure infrastructure, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Nerdio, and Microsoft Purview is highly desirable.

Key Job Elements
- Lead discovery, assessment and architecture workshops across Microsoft technology domains.
- Design and implement Microsoft 365 solutions aligned to business and technical requirements.
- Deliver tenant migrations, consolidations and divestiture-related separation activities.
- Configure and optimise Microsoft 365 services including identity, collaboration, security and compliance capabilities.
- Produce High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), implementation plans and operational documentation.
- Lead technical workstreams and provide subject matter expertise throughout project delivery.
- Perform platform health assessments and develop remediation and optimisation recommendations.
- Support migration activities including identity, mail, collaboration, endpoint and data migration initiatives.
- Advise clients on Microsoft licensing, governance, security and operational best practice.
- Work collaboratively with project managers, architects, security consultants and client stakeholders.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies and constraints and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
- Support service transition activities and hand over to operational support teams.
