About us

At Booking.com, data drives our decisions. Technology is at our core. And innovation is everywhere. But our company is more than datasets, models, or experiments. We’re the thrill of discovering a hidden attraction. The ease of catching the right flight. The confidence of seamless ground transport. Through our products, partners, and people, we empower everyone to experience the world.

Role Description

This role is based in Manchester, UK. Our Trips marketplace spans attractions, flights, and ground transport, and we are investing heavily in Data & AI to unlock the next generation of customer and partner value across these verticals.

Data & AI powers many of Booking.com’s most impactful machine-learning capabilities. As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a critical role in expanding the impact of our Data & AI products across the Trips domain. You will define strategy and long-term vision for ML-powered capabilities that enable Trips product teams to move faster, make better decisions, and deliver step-change improvements in customer experience and marketplace performance.

You will act as the primary liaison between Data & AI and the Trips product organization, serving as a trusted partner to senior product and business leaders. You will bring deep ML domain expertise, consult closely with product teams, and collaborate on identifying and shaping high-impact AI-driven opportunities across attractions, flights, and ground transport.

This is a senior individual contributor role. You will be expected to operate with high autonomy, drive strategy and alignment at scale, and influence without direct people management.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Defining the 1–3 year ML product vision, KPIs and strategy for Trips ML capabilities in collaboration with senior product managers in the Trips verticals.
  • Acting as the primary ML & AI partner to Trips product teams, ensuring ML capabilities are aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Identifying, shaping, and prioritizing high-impact ML and AI opportunities across attractions, flights, and ground transport.
  • Providing ML domain expertise and advisory support to product and business leaders, including feasibility assessment and solution design.
  • Consulting and brainstorming with product teams to co-create ML-powered product improvements and new experiences.
  • Driving stakeholder alignment across Marketplace Data & AI, Trips, Engineering, Data Science, and Commercial teams.
  • Educating stakeholders on the capabilities, trade-offs, and responsible use of ML and AI.
  • Mentoring and coaching (Senior) Product Managers on ML strategy, problem framing, and ML-driven product thinking.
  • Analyzing outcomes, sharing learnings, and building a strong knowledge base to inform future product decisions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
