Join Ideagen and help build next-generation mobile products used by over 18,500 customers across highly regulated industries. As a senior engineer, you'll own the delivery of complex mobile features, technical migrations, and AI-assisted development practices within your squad. Working across iOS, Android, or both, you'll help create modern, native mobile experiences on our evolving platform whilst providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and acting as a key quality gate for design and engineering decisions. This is a hands-on role focused on building new products and capabilities, not just maintaining legacy applications, working within our global engineering organization. The role offers a clear progression path into Staff Engineer or Lead Engineer positions!

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of complex mobile features, technical migrations, and platform improvements across iOS, Android, or both.
  • Drive high-quality engineering practices, including architecture, performance, security, accessibility, and maintainable code standards.
  • Lead the effective use of AI agents and orchestration workflows for feature delivery, testing, and problem-solving, applying sound judgment on when and how to use AI tools while sharing best practices across the team.
  • Build and enhance automated testing, CI/CD, and release processes to ensure reliable and high-performing mobile applications.
  • Mentor and support engineers within the squad, providing technical guidance and acting as a key reviewer for designs and specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers across teams to shape mobile standards, share best practices, and influence technical direction.
  • Identify opportunities to improve team effectiveness, processes, and platform capabilities, driving solutions from idea to implementation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
