JD 1: Senior MongoDB / Technical Account Manager
(Advisory, Architecture, Review & Fine-Tuning Track)
Purpose
Deliver independent, expert-level technical recommendations for a client's MongoDB estate under a remote L3 advisory model. Owns P3 architecture reviews and configuration fine-tuning, and provides senior technical input on P1/P2 issues involving unexplained production behaviour, performance degradation, or architectural risk.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct architecture and configuration reviews of production MongoDB clusters (sharded and replica-set topologies) based on client-supplied logs, configs, and diagnostics — no direct production access.
- Diagnose performance issues (query latency, replication lag, resource utilization) and produce root-cause analysis with concrete remediation recommendations.
- Advise on sharding strategy, replication topology, index design, and capacity planning.
- Support live screen-sharing diagnostic sessions with client teams.
- Produce clear, client-facing written recommendations that can be executed by the client's own operational team (no hands-on production access in this engagement).
- Contribute to monthly governance reviews: upcoming version/feature guidance, long-term upgrade and patching strategy input.
- Lead or contribute to quarterly advisory workshops (setup review, fine-tuning, ideation).

Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years' production MongoDB experience, including hands-on work with sharding, replication, performance tuning, and architecture design.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering independent technical recommendations to clients or internal stakeholders (not just executing pre-defined tickets).
- Comfortable working from indirect evidence (logs/configs/screen-share) rather than live system access.
- Experience in financial services or other regulated environments preferred.
- Strong written communication — recommendations must be actionable by a separate team without direct handover conversation.
