Mortgage Administrator? Let’s be honest. You run the show.

We’re hiring our first Senior Mortgage Administrator at Campbell Financial, and we’re looking for someone who already knows their stuff.

This isn't an entry-level role. We're looking for an experienced mortgage administrator who can take real ownership of the client journey — from preparing cases before the adviser appointment, right through application, offer and completion.

You do not need to live in Northern Ireland — this role is open to experienced mortgage administrators anywhere in the UK.

What you'll be doing

You'll take ownership of the day-to-day administration and progression of our mortgage and protection cases, including:

  • Preparing cases ahead of adviser appointments, reviewing fact-finds and identifying missing information or documentation
  • Requesting and chasing client documents
  • Criteria, affordability and eligibility research
  • Completing DIPs and mortgage applications
  • Packaging and submitting cases accurately
  • Finalising suitability reports from detailed adviser recommendation notes
  • Processing protection applications
  • Liaising directly with clients, lenders, solicitors and providers
  • Keeping clients informed and reassured throughout their journey
  • Managing lender requirements, queries and outstanding actions
  • Maintaining accurate, compliant CRM records
  • Progressing cases through offer and all the way to completion
  • Spotting potential issues before they become problems
  • Helping us improve our systems, workflows and client experience as we grow

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This is a highly client-facing role. You'll become the day-to-day contact for many of our clients, so we're looking for someone who's just as good with people as they are with mortgage applications.

Who we're looking for

Previous hands-on mortgage administration experience is essential.

There's no arbitrary minimum number of years and we're not particularly interested in qualifications. We care about whether you can actually do the job.

You'll probably recognise yourself as someone who:

  • Knows how a mortgage case should progress without needing constant direction
  • Takes ownership and follows things through
  • Notices what's missing before someone has to point it out
  • Knows when to use your own judgement and when something genuinely needs escalated
  • Communicates confidently and naturally with clients
  • Is comfortable speaking up when you spot a potential issue or a better way of doing something
  • Works brilliantly independently
  • Is comfortable with technology and interested in finding smarter ways to work

And one important thing: this isn't a stepping stone to becoming a Mortgage Adviser. There's plenty of room to grow, but we see this role developing further into operations, systems, workflows and client experience as Campbell Financial grows.

What you'll get

  • £30,000–£35,000 salary DOE
  • Fully remote working anywhere in the UK
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Genuine flexibility around how you structure your working day
  • Fridays as a more flexible operational/focus day
  • 28 days' annual leave including bank holidays
  • Your birthday off
  • 4 additional paid wellbeing days
  • Private Medical Insurance
  • Workplace pension
  • Annual salary review
  • All equipment needed to work effectively from home

Monday–Thursday are our core client-service days, so you'll need to be readily available during normal business hours. Friday is still a working day, but with more autonomy to focus on pipeline, outstanding work, systems, improvements and getting ahead.

We believe flexibility works best when it's built on trust and ownership. Need to do the school run, go to an appointment or get to the gym? Fine. We care about our clients being looked after and the work getting done — not somebody being chained to their laptop for appearances.
