Senior Motor Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Customer Demand Alignment

    • Collaborate with the marketing team based on industry development plans to align customer needs, finalize product design solutions, and support cost evaluation.
  • Preliminary Product Development

    • Conduct product feasibility analysis and design by integrating electromagnetic solutions, customer requirements, and manufacturing feasibility. Review technical documents in line with the company’s quality management system to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery. Resolve motor lifecycle issues and drive continuous product optimization.
  • Design Quality Planning & Mass Production Preparation

    • Establish component selection and verification standards, and support supplier audit and nomination. Assist in mass production launch, optimize products according to process requirements, and finalize product OTS data.

  • Platform Product Development & Optimization

    • Develop new platform products as required, and continuously optimize and reduce costs for existing platform products.
  • Technical Platform Construction

    • Compile and maintain technical documents, including design specifications, enterprise standards, and knowledge bases.
  • Patent & Project Application

    • Prepare materials for patent and project applications in accordance with company requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree
  • 3+ years of motor design experience, including at least 3 years in permanent magnet motor design.
  • Deep understanding of motor working principles, and experience in developing design standards and specifications.
  • Solid knowledge of motor components, manufacturing processes, and testing requirements.
  • Proven experience in independently developing and supporting mass-produced motor systems, with the ability to resolve process, quality, and after-sales issues.
  • Proficiency in CREO, CAD, or equivalent design software.
