The Role:
Are you an exceptional communications leader with deep motorsport expertise and the credibility to operate at the highest levels of global sport? We are looking for a Senior Motorsport Communications Manager to join Formula E and lead all sporting communications across the Formula E World Championship.
In this highly influential leadership role, you will report to the Content & Communications Director, serving as the strategic partner to the FIA, teams, drivers and race operations to protect and enhance Formula E’s reputation around the world.
- Own the Motorsport Communications Strategy: You shape and execute the global motorsport communications strategy, aligning sporting credibility, competitive positioning and brand storytelling with long-term commercial goals.
- Lead Senior Stakeholder & FIA Relations: You act as the primary communications lead for the FIA, Sporting Directors, Team Principals and executive leadership, offering strategic counsel during major sporting moments and complex regulatory matters.
- Steer Trackside Communications & Media Operations: You take charge of all race-weekend media operations globally, including press conferences, mixed zones, FIA communications and crisis management, acting as the ultimate on-site decision-maker.
- Drive Global Media & Narrative Building: You build and maintain high-level relationships with international journalists and broadcasters, while defining targeted PR strategies that elevate electric racing beyond standard sports reporting.
- Manage High-Performing Teams & PR Agencies: You coach and develop the internal Motorsport Comms team, set agency targets across international networks, oversee budgets and establish high editorial standards across all press releases and briefing assets.

What we're looking for in you:
- The Motorsport Comms Leader: You bring extensive senior communications experience in international motorsport, elite sport, or high-profile global live events, supported by an established international media network.
- The Crisis & Reputation Strategist: You possess sound strategic judgement and proven experience navigating high-pressure issues, regulatory challenges and crisis management alongside C-suite executives.
- The Outstanding Editor & Storyteller: You hold journalist-level editorial standards and have a track record of developing integrated, high-impact press releases, Q&As and media guides that drive measurable global coverage.
- The Resilient Global Team Player: You are a calm, decisive leader with executive presence who thrives on international race-weekend travel and cross-functional collaboration across diverse global time zones.

This is a hybrid role and you'll be required to do 3 days a week in our Hammersmith London office.
