Senior MRI Radiographer
Experience-dependent salary | Central London | Full-time hours | Private hospital
MedicsPro is recruiting an experienced Senior MRI Radiographer to join a specialist imaging team at a private hospital in Central London. This is a full-time opportunity covering a broad adult and paediatric MRI caseload.
Essential Requirements
- BSc (Hons) Radiography, DCR(R), or an accepted international equivalent
- Current HCPC registration
- At least three years of MRI experience; no separate UK or NHS experience minimum is specified
- Cardiac MRI experience, including stress perfusion
- Strong clinical and technical knowledge across specialist MRI techniques
- Competence in IV contrast and drug administration in line with local protocols

Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI examinations for adult and paediatric patients
- Deliver cardiac MRI, including stress perfusion, alongside MSK, neurological, gynaecological, gastrointestinal, urological, breast, ENT, and chest imaging
- Assess and justify examinations independently within scope of practice
- Administer IV contrast and drugs in line with local protocols
- Evaluate image quality and adjust protocols where clinically appropriate
- Support MRI safety, quality assurance, governance, and clinical mentoring

Shifts and Working Arrangements
This is a full-time role based on site at a private hospital in Central London. Flexibility to participate in out-of-hours duties is required where needed. Specific daily hours and any night or weekend requirements will depend on the hospital rota.
