Cahill Bespoke Construction is a St Albans-based building company delivering high-end refurbishments, extensions and bespoke joinery for private clients, architects and designers. We are looking for an experienced Senior Multitrader to join us on a permanent, employed (PAYE) basis.

THE ROLE

Permanent, full-time, PAYE employed position at senior level — this is not a self-employed role.

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (or 8:00am–4:30pm). Some flexibility may be required depending on project needs; the salary covers reasonable overtime.
  • Projects across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, and North and West London.
  • Six-month probation period. Notice: 1 week during probation, 1 month thereafter.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Carrying out high-quality carpentry, plumbing, decorating and general building works.
  • Working professionally both independently and alongside other trades.
  • Communicating confidently with clients, architects, designers and property managers.
  • Being punctual and reliable, keeping clean and safe working areas, and representing Cahill Bespoke Construction positively at all times.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT

We provide: the van — a fully electric Ford Transit Custom (tracked, alarmed, with tool safe) — plus a charge card, public liability insurance, vehicle repairs and breakdowns, PPE, ladders and step ladders, and uniform T-shirts, jacket and fleece. You provide: your own hand tools and power tools (drills, hoover, laser level, angle grinder, reciprocating/skill/jig/plunge saws, planer, sander, router), work trousers, steel toe cap footwear, and a smartphone — works are issued through our app. You will be responsible for up to the first £250 of any damage or insurance excess on the vehicle while it is in your possession.

A formal Contract of Employment is signed at the start of the role, before commencing any works or receiving the company vehicle.
