We’re partnering with a long-established, family-owned food and drink manufacturer to support the search for a Senior National Account Manager within their Wholesale channel.

The opportunity
As Senior National Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of major national wholesalers such as Matthew Clark, LWC, Booker & Bestway.

You’ll also lead and develop a team of 4 focused on both retention and new business, helping to drive performance, capability and commercial success across the accounts.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being close to customers, leading from the front, and influencing both internally and externally. We are open to background in Wholesale, you could be in the Off Trade or On Trade.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and growing a portfolio of large national wholesale accounts
- Leading, coaching and developing two National Account Managers & 2 RAE's.
- Driving commercial performance, including growth, retention and new business activity
- Building strong, long-term customer relationships across multiple stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to expand distribution and strengthen partnerships
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in National Account Management (Wholesale)
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing or influencing P&L performance
- Confident leader with experience managing or mentoring others
- Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capability
- Proactive, hands-on approach with a strong sense of ownership
- Inclusive leadership style and ability to bring out the best in others

Salary: £65,000 - £68,000pa plus bonus/£5k car allowance/Pension
Ways of working - Home based - 1 day a week in Kent
