Senior National Account Manager

Location: Remote, with travel for retailer meetings and store visits

Type: Full-Time / Contractor

Start Date: ASAP

About Us

Bettervits is one of the UK’s fastest-growing nutrition brands - and we're on a mission to become the biggest. We're a fast-moving digital brand in the health, wellness, and e-commerce space, built on ownership, trust, and results. No corporate fluff, just high standards, creative thinking, and people who get things done.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior National Account Manager to own and grow our relationships with Boots, Holland & Barrett, and other major retail partners. You will take commercial ownership of these accounts, developing and executing strategies that increase sales, improve rate of sale, expand distribution, and deliver profitable, sustainable growth.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who combines strong buyer relationships with analytical thinking, commercial judgement, and exceptional attention to detail. You'll understand what makes a brand succeed on shelf, how to build a compelling case for growth, and how to turn retailer opportunities into measurable results.

We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of growing national accounts, who can set the strategy, lead negotiations, and stay close to the detail of day-to-day execution.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Own and develop relationships with Boots, Holland & Barrett, and other key retail partners, acting as the primary commercial point of contact
  • Build and execute account growth strategies and joint business plans, with clear targets for revenue, profitability, rate of sale, and distribution
  • Take ownership of account performance, including forecasting, trade spend, promotional budgets, and account profitability
  • Analyse sales by SKU and store, stock availability, and promotional performance to identify opportunities and address underperformance early
  • Grow existing listings through stronger rate of sale, improved shelf positioning, increased visibility, and effective retail activation
  • Secure additional listings, store distribution, and new product launches through compelling, commercially grounded buyer presentations
  • Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, margins, promotional investment, trading terms, and wider retailer agreements
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate promotional calendars, ensuring investment delivers incremental sales and a clear commercial return
  • Lead range reviews and buyer meetings, using category insights, shopper behaviour, and competitor analysis to strengthen our position
  • Work closely with marketing and e-commerce teams to turn brand awareness and digital demand into retail sales, both in store and on retailer websites
  • Partner with supply chain and operations to maintain accurate forecasts, strong availability, and reliable delivery, while managing stock and expiry risks
  • Coordinate product launches across product, marketing, design, and operations, ensuring retailer requirements and deadlines are met
  • Identify and develop new retail opportunities that align with the brand’s positioning and commercial goals
  • Maintain accurate account plans, commercial records, and reporting, giving leadership clear visibility of performance, risks, and next steps
  • Conduct regular store visits to assess execution, understand the shopper experience, and identify practical improvements

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
