About the Role
This company offers high-end luxury treats to customers across the globe from their humble beginnings of East Yorkshire. We now need somebody to manage the bulk of their impressive customer accounts.
We're looking for a Senior National Account Manager who’s experienced in Grocery and can make things happen.
This is a proper role with real responsibility. You'll own a multi-million-pound portfolio of our clients most strategically important UK and international customers - the kind of accounts that have a huge impact on the whole business's bottom line.
Responsibilities
- Manage everything from pricing negotiations through to launching new products and driving profitable growth.
- Own significant grocery customers - handling joint business plans, annual terms, trade investment, forecasting, category reviews and hitting P&L targets.

Requirements
- Solid background in account management within FMCG or premium gifting.
- Real grocery experience is essential.
- Strong commercial and financial capability.
- Proven ability to deliver both sales and profit growth.
- Natural negotiator, able to manage complex customer plans and understand forecasting and promotional evaluation.
- Experience coaching or managing others is a real bonus – but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel, internationally too (infrequently, mind!)
Job Details
- Three days a week in their Gilberdyke office (usually Monday, Wednesday, Thursday), 1-2 days from home.
- Roughly one to two days each month visiting customers and checking out stores.
- Report to the Head of Sales, with genuine autonomy to build customer strategy, own your numbers, and make real commercial decisions.
