About the Role
We're looking for an ambitious and commercially astute Senior National Account Manager to join a growing food business and take ownership of a key Top 4 Grocery account.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced grocery professional with a strong track record of delivering growth and building strategic customer partnerships. You'll be responsible for driving sales, profitability and category growth while developing and executing customer plans aligned to wider business objectives in a highly innovative own label bakery business (think sweet treats, patisserie).
The successful candidate will have the confidence to influence at all levels, identify commercial opportunities and lead customer relationships that deliver long-term success.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing and developing a key Top 4 Grocery account
- Building strong, strategic relationships with customer stakeholders
- Delivering sales, revenue and margin targets
- Developing and executing joint business plans to drive sustainable growth
- Negotiating annual agreements, promotional plans and commercial terms
- Identifying opportunities to increase distribution, sales and profitability
- Managing forecasts and working closely with supply chain and operational teams
- Monitoring customer performance and implementing plans to maximise results
- Leading customer projects from concept through to launch
- Tracking market trends, category insights and competitor activity
- Collaborating cross-functionally to deliver exceptional customer outcomes

What We're Looking For
- Strong bakery experience is essential- if you haven't got it you need to have a real passion here!
- Proven experience as a National Account Manager or Senior National Account Manager within FMCG
- Experience managing major grocery retail accounts, ideally within a Top 4 customer
- Own label/private label experience preferred
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities
- Results-driven with a proven track record of delivering growth
- Highly ambitious with the desire to progress and develop further
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Love driving innovation
