SNAM/Senior National Account Manager - Personal Care/FMCG/Beauty/Consumer Health - Manchester 📈

A global & fast-growing Personal Care/Consumer Health company (30%+ growth) with a portfolio of highly recognised brands & Top SKUs sold across major UK retailers, pharmacies & e-Comm channels are looking for a Senior National Account Manager to join the MCR team.

Following continued investment and significant growth within the UK market, the business is looking to appoint an ambitious SNAM to help drive the next phase of commercial expansion across an exciting portfolio of leading consumer health brands.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially-minded NAM looking for greater ownership and autonomy within a collaborative, entrepreneurial business. You'll inherit an established portfolio of key retail accounts (Superdrug, Boots, Pharmacies & wider Retailers) whilst playing an important role in supporting new product launches, expanding distribution and delivering long-term customer growth across B2B/Grocery/Retail.

The Opportunity:

Reporting directly to the UK General Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and developing strategic retail partnerships across a portfolio of national accounts.

Working closely with an energetic team of Marketing, Supply Chain and wider commercial colleagues, you'll help deliver ambitious growth plans whilst identifying new commercial opportunities across existing and emerging product categories.

Alongside managing established UK customers, you'll also have exposure to international business activity and future brand launches as the organisation continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of established national retail accounts.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key customer stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute Joint Business Plans that deliver sustainable commercial growth.
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales, distribution and market share.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance to deliver outstanding customer execution.
  • Support new product launches, promotional activity and category development.
  • Analyse customer performance and market trends to identify future opportunities.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasting, reporting and commercial analysis.
  • Represent the business at customer meetings, industry events and trade exhibitions.
  • Contribute to the continued growth of both UK retail and international commercial partnerships.

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone who's commercially driven, highly collaborative and passionate about developing long-term customer relationships.

This isn't a purely new business or 'hunter-style' sales role (though beneficial in skillset). Instead, we're looking for someone who enjoys managing strategic accounts, building trusted partnerships and working collaboratively to deliver sustainable growth. In tandem, this would be in he aim of delivering strategic commercial growth for their portfolio of brands.

Experience within Health & Personal Care, Beauty, Consumer Healthcare or FMCG would be advantageous, although we're equally interested in candidates from adjacent consumer sectors with strong retail account management experience.

You'll likely have experience in:

  • National Account Management with retailer experience such as Boots/Superdrug and/or Grocery/Retail (Sainsburys, Tesco, Morrisons, Asda, Holland & Barrett, Selfridges)
  • Worked at large multinationals/Blue-Chips or trained in a global organisation
  • Joint Business Planning

  • Cross-functional Stakeholder Management
